Mosquito control,
Dallas, Texas.
North Texas summers run hot, dry, and long, but the creeks, lakes, and the post-storm flush are exactly what mosquitoes need. We build automated misting systems for that pattern: the Trinity corridor to White Rock, LBJ to the Tollway, mature pecan canopies in Highland Park to new builds in Frisco. Family-owned and Texas-licensed since 2014. Ten DFW cities, one phone number.
Quick Answer
Where in Dallas does Texan Mosquito Systems install misting systems?
Texan Mosquito Systems is a family-owned, Texas-licensed installer of automated mosquito misting systems serving Dallas and nine surrounding DFW cities. We design every nozzle layout on-site to your yard’s geometry, install in a single day, refill and repair in-house, and never require a contract.
Why North Texas mosquitoes aren't
your spray-truck's problem.
Dallas isn’t a once-a-month spray market. The Trinity River corridor, White Rock and the Lewisville reservoir, and the post-front rain bands keep populations cycling for seven months a year. A truck-spray contract doses the perimeter once and disperses by Tuesday. A fixed-nozzle misting system doses every dawn and dusk, every day, for the full North Texas season.
April through October is full pressure. Aedes albopictus and Culex quinquefasciatus drive most North Texas bites, they cycle on every dawn-dusk thermal window, exactly when our nozzles fire.
Lower than the Gulf, higher than you’d guess. North Texas afternoon storms recharge every flight window, activity climbs for 36 to 48 hours after a thunderstorm, exactly when most homeowners want their patio.
Texas A&M trapping data lists 47 documented species in Dallas County. We don’t formulate concentrate, we design coverage for the species mix that actually shows up at your address, and a licensed Texas applicator vets the chemistry.

Questions, asked by Dallas homeowners.
The five questions every Dallas homeowner asks before installing, answered by the Texas-licensed crew on the truck, not a call center.
How long is mosquito season in Dallas?
In Dallas, mosquito pressure runs roughly April through October, about seven months. Afternoon thunderstorms recharge the breeding water; the Trinity corridor and lake reservoirs hold humidity into the evening. We program your system most aggressively from May through September at dusk and dawn, then ease cycle frequency as nights cool down toward Halloween.
Which Dallas-area cities do you serve?
We serve every neighborhood inside LBJ Freeway (I-635) plus the surrounding metro: Plano, Frisco, Fort Worth, Allen, McKinney, Garland, Irving, Arlington, Denton, Richardson, Grapevine, Carrollton, Coppell, and Southlake. If your address has a Dallas-area ZIP and a Texas mailing address, we can usually reach you within 48 hours.
How much does a misting system cost in Dallas?
Most DFW yards install for $1,800 to $3,500 all-in, design, permits where applicable, install labor, calibration, and the first concentrate fill included. Tankless systems carry a premium over barrel systems; larger Highland Park or Preston Hollow lots with complex landscape and pool architecture trend toward the upper end. You get the full number in writing before we touch a single nozzle.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Never. We don’t do contracts, never have. You own the hardware. You choose whether to use us for refills and maintenance. If you move, sell, or change your mind, there’s nothing to cancel. We earn your repeat business every visit.
How fast can you install?
For most DFW-area homes we book a site visit within 48 hours and install within 5 to 7 business days. The install itself is a single day, typically 6 to 8 hours from arrival to walkthrough. By dinner, your system is armed and your first cycle is scheduled for the next dawn.
