Quick Answer
Where in McKinney does Texan Mosquito Systems install misting systems?
Texan Mosquito Systems installs custom-designed automated mosquito misting systems for residences across McKinney, TX, including Stonebridge Ranch, Tucker Hill, Adriatica Village, Eldorado, Craig Ranch, Trinity Falls, Auburn Hills, and Historic Downtown. We design, install, calibrate, and maintain barrel and tankless systems on a single Collin County route dispatched from our Dallas depot. No contracts. 4 ZIP clusters covered (75069 / 75070 / 75071 / 75072). Free, on-site quote in 48 hours.
Built for the East Fork Trinity bite-zones.
McKinney sits on the rolling Blackland Prairie above the East Fork Trinity River and Wilson Creek, older soils that hold moisture longer than Frisco or Allen. 7–8 months of active pressure, with the historic district running hotter than the new west-side builds because of mature canopies and aging alley drainage. May and September are the punishing months. Aedes day-biters dominate the wooded historic lots; Culex night-biters work the Stonebridge Ranch lake fingers. We treat for both.
April through October is full pressure. Aedes albopictus and Culex quinquefasciatus drive most Blackland-prairie bites, they cycle on every dawn-dusk thermal window, exactly when our nozzles fire.
North Texas afternoon storms recharge every flight window, activity climbs for 36 to 48 hours after a thunderstorm, exactly when most homeowners want their patio.
Texas A&M trapping data lists 47 documented species in Collin Co.. We don’t formulate concentrate, we design coverage for the species mix that actually shows up at your address, and a licensed Texas applicator vets the chemistry.

Questions, asked by McKinney homeowners.
The five questions every McKinney homeowner asks before installing, answered by the Texas-licensed crew on the truck, not a call center.
How long is mosquito season in McKinney?
McKinney runs roughly mid-March through early November, about 7–8 active months. The historic district holds heat and humidity longer than the western new-builds, so downtown lots can need calibration tweaks two weeks earlier in spring and two weeks later in fall.
Do you install in Historic Downtown McKinney?
Constantly. The pre-1900 bungalows and Victorians around the Square are some of our favorite installs, tight alley-fed lots, mature pecans, and old porch lines mean a thoughtfully placed 16–20 nozzle system can transform an evening on the porch. We work around historic siding and original woodwork.
How much does a misting system cost in McKinney?
Most McKinney yards install between $2,200 and $4,000. Estate-scale lots in Stonebridge Ranch, Trinity Falls, and Tucker Hill can range $4,500–$7,500 depending on perimeter length and HOA-required concealment. Quote, design, ARC packet preparation, calibration, and the first concentrate fill are all included.
Do you handle HOA approval in Stonebridge Ranch or Tucker Hill?
Yes. Stonebridge Ranch, Tucker Hill, Trinity Falls, Craig Ranch, and Adriatica all require ARC submission. Tucker Hill in particular has strict pre-war aesthetic standards. We provide spec sheets, nozzle-placement diagrams, and color-match plans ready to drop into the ARC packet. Most approvals take 2–4 weeks.
Can you pre-plumb a Trinity Falls new build?
Yes, this is our favorite phase to install. Pre-plumbing during framing means concealed supply lines, dedicated electrical, and a tankless reservoir tucked into the garage with no retrofit penetrations. We coordinate directly with your builder. Trinity Falls and Craig Ranch builders are familiar with our specs.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Never. No contracts, ever. You own the hardware outright, you choose whether to use us for refills and seasonal calibration, and there’s nothing to cancel if you sell, move, or change your mind. We earn every season on time and quality, not on paper.
How fast can you install in McKinney?
For non-HOA addresses: 7–14 days from quote to live system. HOA-required addresses: add 2–4 weeks for ARC approval. Tucker Hill can run 4–6 weeks given its strict design review. Install itself is one day, 6–9 hours from arrival to walkthrough.
Is West Nile virus a concern in McKinney?
Yes. Collin County reports West Nile-positive mosquito traps every summer, with peak activity July through September along the Wilson Creek and East Fork Trinity drainages. Our concentrate is registered for both Aedes day-biters and Culex night-biters, the local West Nile vector. Annual recalibration timed to peak season.
