Allen Climate

Built for Watters Creek bite-zones.

Allen sits on the high prairie at the headwaters of three creeks, Watters, Rowlett, and Cottonwood, which means every neighborhood is within a quarter mile of a drainage line. 7 months of active pressure, with a sharp May surge tied to spring storms and a second wave in September after late-summer fronts. Creek-adjacent lots in Twin Creeks and Star Creek run noticeably hotter than ridge subdivisions. Aedes day-biters and Culex night-biters both work Allen yards; we treat for both.

ALLEN FAQ

Questions, asked by Allen homeowners.

The five questions every Allen homeowner asks before installing, answered by the Texas-licensed crew on the truck, not a call center.

Allen-specific question?
Call our Allen dispatch.

Allen runs roughly mid-March through early November, about seven active months. A wet May reliably produces a four-to-six-week Aedes spike, and the Watters/Rowlett/Cottonwood creek system keeps Culex active well into October. Calibration tracks both peaks.

We install in every Allen ZIP, 75002 and 75013, including Twin Creeks, Star Creek, Watters Creek, Montgomery Farm, Cottonwood Bend, Waterford Parks, Suncreek Estates, and Custer Hills. New construction off Ridgeview and the Stacy Road corridor also fall on our route.

Most Allen yards install between $2,200 and $3,800. Larger lots in Twin Creeks and Suncreek Estates can range $4,200–$6,500 depending on perimeter length and HOA-required concealment. Quote, design, ARC packet preparation, calibration, and the first concentrate fill are all included.

Yes. Twin Creeks, Star Creek, Montgomery Farm, and Watters Creek all require Architectural Review Committee (ARC) submission. We provide spec sheets, nozzle-placement diagrams, and color-match plans ready to drop into the ARC packet. Most approvals take 2–4 weeks. We don’t install until your HOA signs off in writing.

For the water supply, usually yes; we tap a dedicated supply rather than sharing irrigation pressure. For the control wiring, we run independent 24V control from the reservoir, so your sprinkler timer and our misting timer never conflict. Allen’s 2000s-and-newer construction makes clean tie-ins straightforward.

Never. No contracts, ever. You own the hardware outright, you choose whether to use us for refills and seasonal calibration, and there’s nothing to cancel if you sell, move, or change your mind. We earn every season on time and quality, not on paper.

For non-HOA addresses: 7–14 days from quote to live system. HOA-required addresses (Twin Creeks, Star Creek, Montgomery Farm): add 2–4 weeks for ARC approval. Install itself is one day, 6–9 hours from arrival to walkthrough. Refills and repairs inside Allen run on a 48-hour response window.

Yes. Collin County reports West Nile-positive mosquito traps every summer, with peak activity July through September along the Watters Creek and Rowlett Creek drainages. Our concentrate is registered for both Aedes day-biters and Culex night-biters, the local West Nile vector. Annual recalibration timed to peak season.
