Mosquito control,
Spring, Texas.
Spring’s heat and humidity make mosquito season nearly year-round. We build misting systems for this climate, the I-45 corridor, the bayous, the tree-canopy backyards in the Heights. Same family team since 2014. Fifteen Spring-area cities, one phone number.
Quick Answer
Where in Spring does Texan Mosquito Systems install misting systems?
Texan Mosquito Systems installs custom-designed automated mosquito misting systems for residences across Spring, TX, including Auburn Lakes, Gleannloch Farms, Champions Forest, Cypresswood, Memorial Northwest, Klein Oaks, Old Town Spring, and Wimbledon Estates. We design, install, calibrate, and maintain barrel and tankless systems on a single Harris County route dispatched from our Houston depot. No contracts. 5 ZIP clusters covered (77373 / 77379 / 77386 / 77388 / 77389). Free, on-site quote in 48 hours.
Built for Spring Creek bite-zones.
Spring straddles the Spring Creek and Cypress Creek watersheds north of Houston, loblolly pine canopy, slow-draining clay, and a dense mat of golf-course lakes and detention ponds. 9 months of active pressure, with a hard April–June peak driven by spring storms and a second wave in September. Old Town Spring’s creek-adjacent lots and Champions Forest’s greenbelt yards run our densest perimeters. We treat for both Aedes day-biters and Culex night-biters.
April through October is peak. Aedes aegypti and Culex stay active even in Spring’s mild winters, our nozzles dose every dawn and dusk.
Bayou-fed humidity is what makes Spring bites worse than Dallas. Higher humidity = longer flight ranges = more mosquito hours per day.
Among the highest counts in Texas. We don’t formulate, we design for the species mix, with concentrate options vetted by your licensed applicator.

How we reach a Spring address.
Your Spring install isn’t dispatched out of a call center. Every job is routed from our Houston depot near US-290 / Beltway 8, about 18 miles north up I-45 with Beltway 8 lateral connections to Champions and Klein, meaning the same crew that installs your system is the same crew that returns for refills, repairs, and seasonal calibration.
Six things we do
in Spring backyards.
Every system on this page is designed, installed, and serviced by Texan Mosquito Systems, not subcontracted, not franchised.
Barrel or tankless. We design every nozzle layout to your yard, no kit-of-parts.
Refills, seasonal tune-ups, and emergency repairs, same crew that installed it.
Spring’s outdoor dining is year-round. We protect patios at Heights, Montrose, EaDo, and Rice Village restaurants.
Pool decks, playgrounds, walking trails. Volume pricing for HOAs across Sugar Land, Cinco Ranch, Bridgeland.
Wedding venues, brewery patios, festivals. One-time treatments designed around your event date.
Working on a new build in Bridgeland, Sienna, or Cross Creek? We rough-in lines before fence and landscaping.
Questions, asked by Spring homeowners.
The five questions every Spring homeowner asks before installing, answered by the Texas-licensed crew on the truck, not a call center.
Which Spring communities do you regularly install in?
Auburn Lakes, Gleannloch Farms, Champions Forest, Cypresswood, Memorial Northwest, Klein Oaks, Old Town Spring, and Wimbledon Estates, all on our Tuesday/Friday I-45 dispatch. We pick up new builds along Spring-Cypress Road, Louetta, and the 99 Grand Parkway corridor on the same swing, plus the Klein-side lots straddling 77379 and 77389.
Why are Champions Forest and Gleannloch yards so mosquito-heavy?
Loblolly canopy. Champions Forest and the older Gleannloch Farms lots sit under a dense pine and oak overstory that shades the soil for hours longer than open lots farther north. Cypresswood’s mature trees do the same thing. We push nozzle density 25–40% along treelines and angle nozzles upward into the canopy on a slower cycle so the mist column reaches Culex resting on the underside of leaves.
Can you rough-in lines during a new build on Grand Parkway?
Yes, new construction along 99 Grand Parkway and the Spring-Cypress corridor is a regular call. We coordinate with the framer to drop sleeves at fence corners, stage a dedicated supply stub at the future reservoir wall with the plumber, and align bed elevations with the landscape designer. Roughing in at framing saves about $700 versus a retrofit and keeps the install invisible.
How does HOA approval typically go in Auburn Lakes or Wimbledon Estates?
Smoothly, we’ve been through enough Champions Forest, Gleannloch, Auburn Lakes, Memorial Northwest, and Wimbledon ARC packets to know exactly what each committee wants. Reservoir screening, nozzle finish in trim color, no street-side visible hardware. Most ARCs return approval in 14–21 days; Champions Forest occasionally takes the full 30. We don’t install until you have written sign-off.
Will the system play nicely with my pool deck in Cypresswood?
Yes. Cypresswood and Memorial Northwest pool yards are some of our most-installed configurations, perimeter zone runs outside the deck coping with every head angled outward, never over the water. Outdoor kitchens get a separate micro-zone with manual lockout for cookouts. Cycles run pre-dawn and at dusk so the deck is dry by the time anyone’s outside.
Do you have to tear up my Spring lawn to run lines?
Almost never. Trenchless tubing tucks under mulch beds, behind soldier-course bricks, and along fence kickboards, no sod cut, no irrigation strikes. Driveways and stamped patios get a directional bore underneath instead of sawcuts. On older Cypresswood and Old Town Spring lots with surprise utility runs, we hand-probe the route first.
Do you recalibrate mid-season if pressure spikes?
Yes, mid-season tuning is included on every Spring install for the first full year. If you call in July saying the Auburn Lakes evenings are biting through the 7pm cycle, a tech is on-site inside 48 hours for a free recalibration. Spring Creek mosquito flight altitude shifts when humidity climbs in late summer; we re-tune to match without an invoice.
How is a family-owned crew different from a franchise in Spring?
Same family team since 2014, dispatched out of one Houston depot, not a national franchise running scripts and territories. The applicator who installs your Champions Forest system is the same applicator who returns for refills and the same one who answers the call when something cracks. No territory hand-offs, no rotating crews, no call-center routing. We’re local-owned because franchises can’t move that fast.
